NEW DYSLEXIA PARENTS
GROUP STARTING

Mary Smith was exhausted after years of struggling to help her dyslexic son Daniel to read and spell. She had tried every method she could lay hands on.

Dyslexia is a learning difference which affects about 5% of all children. Dyslexic children struggle with spelling, reading, writing and multiplication tables. They often confuse left and right, and have trouble copying from the teacher's board.

Mary has decided to start a Dyslexia Parents group. This will be a way of meeting other parents in the same situation and finding out how they cope.

The new group is starting soon. If you are the parent of a child who is, or may be, dyslexic, you can contact Mary at this telephone number or email her at email@email.com.

Meanwhile, Daniel could spell 'because' when he came home from school this week: the teacher had taught him to remember the spelling from the first letters of this sentence: Big Elephants Can Add Up Sums Easily!
