About Us

The Dyslexia Certificate and Dyslexia Parents' courses have been designed and published by Direct Learning, in conjunction with Dyslexia Teacher.

The course Director is John Bradford, M.A., Ac. Dip. Ed., Adv. Fr.Dip., A.C.P.

John Bradford has over thirty years experience of working with children, teenagers, college students and dyslexic adults; he has worked as a lecturer in education, as a school principal/head teacher, and has been involved in advising, counselling and teaching dyslexic children and adults from age 4 to age 72!

He is founder of the 'World of Dyslexia' websites:

The websites and Discussion Forums he founded are visited by more than 1.5 million people each year. The free monthly World of Dyslexia Newsletter is subscribed to by over 16,000 people.

He is a pioneer in the field of objective distance assessment of dyslexia, and works with children, teenagers and adults with dyslexia, dyspraxia, Attention Deficit and other learning difficulties.
